How do we work with Clients (Methodology)
Projects performed by Kinship's Strategic Services consultants involve a close working relationship between Kinship, the development team, and senior management. While Kinship takes a leadership role in structuring, performing, and appraising the initial analysis activities, later stages of our engagements are highly synergistic and collaborative.
Kinship's Strategic Services consultants can assist with both tactical challenges and strategic transformation. Engagements can be project-based or cover an entire therapeutic area, and are planned and delivered in accordance with specific needs and agreed-upon objectives. How to de we differ from Traditional Approach
The approach taken by Kinship differs from traditional decision analytic
methods in the following ways:
Address both Resources and Productivity:
We address both resource allocation and productivity of specific development
programs, where traditional decision analysis focuses only on the former.
Integrate Deep Scientific/Economic Content:
We integrate rich and deep scientific and economic content expertise
(e.g., pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling, drug and disease
modeling, clinical trial simulation, and dynamic market modeling) with
rigorous analytic methods, feeding superior information into advanced
analytic methodologies, where traditional decision analysis applies
rigorous analytic methods to the customer's existing (often incomplete
and/or inaccurate) information.
Include Detailed Clinical Trial Variables:
We extend the decision analytic approach to actual trial design, defining
optimal dose ranges and dosing strategies, trial protocols, control
strategies, trial size and duration, and other important variables not
addressed by traditional decision analysis.
Staff with High-Level of Industry/Scientific Experience:
We staff our projects with senior-level, experienced professionals with
significant, and in many cases truly distinguished industry-specific
experience and training, whereas traditional decision analysis relies
largely on methodologic training alone.
